Mezzanine funding is a niche area of lending which MMG have been trading in for many years. Mezzanine finance allows a borrower to reduce their equity stake in a project whilst maximising their returns on the capital. The finance is secured via a second legal charge over the asset which is being financed.
In simple terms it reduces investment in any one project which in turn allows you to invest your cash into other areas or projects which you wouldn't have been able to previously.
